The Kasco Home Series aerators are designed specifically for ponds up to about 2 acres in size and up to 20 feet deep. Using a stainless steel cabinet, 1/4HP compressor, and a single-loop diffuser, these systems provide a more economical option to the full featured Robust Aire systems, with the same great reliability we've come to expect from Kasco aerators.

Home Series Diffused Aeration Systems provide beneficial water movement from the bottom up to improve water quality in backyard ponds. Using a shore-mounted compressor, air is continuously pumped through tubing lines that run to a single-loop diffuser on the pond bottom. The air is released upward, creating non-stop water movement and mixing, which is vital in eliminating and preventing weed overgrowth, algae, unpleasant odors, and other issues.

Pond Sizing And Coverage Suggestions:

The DA1, single diffuser model can be used in up to 1 acre in size.  For 1/4 acre ponds the recommended depths should be from 6-8 feet, 1/2 acre ponds from 9 to 12 feet, and 1 acre ponds from 13 - 20 feet deep. 

The DA2, dual diffuser aerator is suggested for ponds up to 2 acres in size.  For 1/4 acre ponds the suggested depth range is between 3 to 6 feet, for 1/2 acre ponds 6 to 8 feet, for 1 acre ponds 9 to 12 feet, and 2 acre ponds from 13 to 20 feet deep. 

The Home Series aerator kit includes a 1/4 HP rocking piston pump, stainless steel cabinet, cooling fan, 3/8" weighted tubing (100' per diffuser) and the single loop diffuser(s).
