The SW40 is designed to work in shallow water conditions is great for any pond up to 1/2 acre in size with a maximum depth of six feet or less.  It is advised that you only use this with power near the pond and we do like to keep the airline runs around the 400' total at maximum to avoid too much backpressure on the linear pump.
