About The Airmax SW Shallow Pond Aeration Series

Providing bottom-diffused aeration in shallow ponds and lakes can provide a unique challenge to pond owners. Less water depth means smaller plate coverage which usually translates to bigger, more expensive, multi-plate systems. Our Shallow Water Series™ Aeration Systems provide multiple plates to provide evenly distributed aeration in shallow water applications without forcing customers into large cost-prohibitive aeration units. Designed specifically for use in shallow water, our Shallow Water Series™ Aeration Systems aerate ponds up to ½ surface acre at 6’ deep.

Airmax SW40

This is a very, very quiet linear air pump. The cabinet is very well constructed. It comes with a prewired outlet that the fan and air pump are plugged into, the outlet is than ran outside the cabinet and you plug it into your power source. It runs 4 double air sticks, I’ll call them. They produce a ton of fine bubbles. Our pond and fish are very happy. The fine folks at American Aeration are truly an amazing team. Don’t hesitate to ask questions or buy this system. It really is 1 of the best.

Greatly Improved Pond

We decided to put an aerator in as a first step to improving our ponds condition. We are also doing some natural treatments. After several months of doing both, the water improved so much I don’t think we need to do anything further. The aerator turned out to be a good investment.
